Of course that’s important. Hope the fever has broken, and she’s smiled. It looks like with her taste in doll-babies, that she’ll fit right in here when she gets old enough for her own pair of PortaPros with Red and Yellow Yaxis (if they don’t come out with Pink and Purple by then).
Sweet little thang that is.

Found those in my mailbox today. Excited to hear what it is like to be in a submarine!
Edit: These little babies sound great right out of the box. Will update as they burn in.
Where are you installing these? In the Liquid Platinum?
Right now they are in my WA2. Will move it over to the LP a little later to compare.
You should have told me you wanted a 3080. I got a 3070, a 3080, and a 3090 and could have hooked you up. I have a friend at nVidia.
Good stuff. I tend to seek out Holland made. Another good one that is a bit cheaper are the Bharat Electronics India (BEL) tubes assembled in India – owned by Philips/Amperex with internals believed to be made in Holland.
Quite the beast, and with the Jupiter Caps upgrade! The speaker amp capability and ability to roll 6L6, EL34, and KT88 power tubes is attractive.
@Earmuffs, looking forward to your ampsandsound comparisons. I’ve only had my Pendant for a couple of weeks, but that amp, combined with the Verite, has exceeded my already sky-high expectations (thank goodness, because these expensive blind purchases are very stressful) and I’m curious how their other amps compare.
The ampandsound makes killer stuff for the price. I had Pendant which powered all my hard to drive headphones really good. Can only imagine what their bigger amps can do.
I’m weeks away from getting my Verite preorder and want to use that in my comparison too. I’m really liking this mogwai SE a lot with my Aeolus. It seems to play dynamics effortlessly. I’ll plan on writing up a comparison of the ampsandsound amps along with my mz2 and T4 and make a new post.
Thanks for your interest and want to put a lot of thought into it so I don’t describe anything janky Lol.
Just got an Asgard 3 as a Christmas present for my son, to give him something decent to power his 6XX phones, replacing his Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface. Ordered the multibit card so that he doesn’t need to deal with multiple boxes and cables. My wife asked me if he wants this, and I said that he needs this, which is far more important.
Of course that gives me a month and a half to play with it myself, before I wrap it up again. Will try it as an amp (connected to Bifrost 2 DAC) and also as an integrated DAC/amp.
What an awesome dad you are! The Asgard 3 is one of the best values on the market right now. I also have the multibit card built in mine. It was a massive step up from the Atom + OL dac.
Agreed, that boy doesn’t know how good a dad he has … how lucky he is.
These amps are killing me, it takes almost everything my uDac 5’s headphone amp has to get the new Deva going. I know I’m going to want something with more umph.

Thanks to both of you. I agree, that boy doesn’t know how lucky he is, and I can guarantee he won’t thank me. But such is life when you’re a parent of a teenager.
Mine just turned 13, and it was like someone flipped a switch. A sweet kid, and then all of a sudden…
You sure he isn’t wishing for PS5?
