Congratulations. Enjoy those marvels.
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these as well!
Brent is pretty responsive and willing to warranty the tube if it’s really defective at least. I’ve had others that won’t stand by replacing the tube. Brent does suggest to tap the tube to see if you can get anything loose that might be causing the issue but he said if not, send it back and he’ll replace it.
I prefer dealers that check for noise before they sell me a tube, but that is good he is gonna replace it. Fingers crossed, the replacement tube isn’t noisy for you.
Enjoy, don’t let it keep you at the office late
LOL unfortunately I was so late today I only had time to set it up for the pics. Didn’t get there until 530 eastern time.
Wednesday Ill fire it up.
Don’t forget to have “2001: A Space Odyssey” theme playing as you flick the switch!
Oh!!! Its a little blue baby!!
Its interesting to see how his amps have evolved over time.
What is the weight like (headband distribution) on the Rad-0? Sounds like you could wear them awhile.
Similar to Audeze? or do they feel lighter?
My Focal Mg finally arrived today!
I pulled the trigger on this after getting some advice from the official Clear Mg thread. Thanks for encouraging me push to through with this purchase!
I’ve only listened to maybe 3 songs so far but I got so excited, that I had to post already.
So far, so good! Defintely lives up to its name!
music on, world off
Awesome!
Looking forward to your impressions on the MG thread.
Mine are 589 grams without cables. My understanding is they use a smaller driver and have a smaller form factor than some Audeze but I have none to compare. I find them very comfortable in comparison to my Eikon, for example and the clamp force is adjustable in much the same way. In the live stream with Resolve, Alex Rosson said that they switched to aluminum fairly early on in their production runs, so I think the standard configuration is lighter than when they were initially launched and reviewed. I am writing some more comprehensive impressions to post later in the RAD-0 thread.
Whoops! Wrong Click.
@Lothar_Wolf I really like the first impressions.
Looking forward to your thoughts in “greater” detail.

Yup. Like I need another amp…
But I had to. I sold my old one knowing I could just buy another one whenever. Seemed like a permanent fixture on their product list. Now that they are discontinued, had to get it again.
Also, yay TubeMonger socket savers!
Wonder how many will do the same. Good that you got it in time. They still honouring the warranty even thought its dc’ed?
Yep, to my knowledge.
