Ouch, wth is up with that? Idiots. It sounds like you got the resident gorillas inspecting that poor amp. Try submitting a repair invoice to customs perhaps? (not likely to get anything I imagine)

Picked these guys up to replace a pair of KT88’s that has a little noise once in a while, now one side has a loud power hum. Brent’s out of the office today, guess I’ll follow up on monday. Swapped positions, going to see how they fair tonight, maybe I’ll get luck and reseating resolved the issue.

Sure wish Brent would actually check the tubes he sells for noise, and until he does it is a hard pass from me. Bummer on the noisy tubes, and I hope you get what you paid for eventually.

Thank you to @taronlissimore and @andrew for the incredible help yesterday and the unbelievable service getting these to me so fast! I feel fortunate to have a retailer like headphones.com to work with, they foster the sharing of so much knowledge here and are the most accommodating business of their type, IMO.
Breaking these in as a write and will have A LOT more to share later. Cliff notes, they are stunning. I will not get outside much today…!
