are you going to bring those tomorrow or can you even go?
I’ll be there!
beeing forced to get creative … best part of “making” a photo and not simply “takin a shot”
and it worked out fine! did you use coloured gels on flashes? - don´t think so.
My tip goes more in the direction of different “ambilight” bulbs controlled via the app
Aperture MC is behind the stack using a diffuser… I set the RGB to red(ish) color to coincide with the Hel and Heresy color way…
I see it’s weight has lowered your desk a good couple inches/cm below Andrews…
joking of course =)
These look sweet! How do they sound?
Big box, small box, “Contents may have settled during shipping.”
Well, this gives it away!
Minor assembly required. Insert reed into mouthpiece.
Cat included for “scale” Do, re, meow, fa, so, la, ti, do!
Wow how cool is this one?!
can you actually play it?
had sax lessons as teenager for a year… not that it has helped … had other prioritys
wonder if this would be as easy as playing the accoustic fleet, like we were forced to learn as child in the 80s.
Have fun with it! Have to search some videos with this
You’re in the same boat I am. Sax lessons years ago. I had to stop because I had a reaction to the cane reeds they used then. This has a Bravo synthetic reed and a real mouthpiece. I spent years fooling around with Soprano, Alto, and Baritone recorders, played some Bach, Teleman, and folk music - strictly at home with family stuff.
I’m working on remembering my Sax fingering. This can be configured to recorder, clarinet, flute, or several other simplified fingerings. It can even be configured for horn players. There are some free aps I see that might help me regain the sax muscle memory.
What’s weird is the fingering of the left pinky. It’s correct for sax, but when I used to play sax, I would see that brass pad and physical connection to the pads far down the horn. So I “knew” that the finger was activating remote pads. On this, I don’t have the visual, so it’s harder to remember. I’m sure a few weeks will help.
The little speaker in it is pretty cheezy, but works fine for fooling around. I plugged in my cheap Grados, and WOW, did it sound better. Comes with 9 sounds pre-installed. There are guitar pedal outs and headphone outs and MIDI out. Two apps let you do other synth sounds with free Vindor player app, and there is another Vindor app that lets you configure. Takes a mini SD card that you can add 9 more sample sounds. It has both a synth and MIDI controller.
Price is an astonishing $299. It began on kickstarter. Works with iPhone/iPad and camera adapter, or direct into iOS and Windows. Also said to work on Android devices that have low latency. Keys are much faster than I recall from Sax. http://vindormusic.com
with enough practice the muscle memory kicks back in
no worries
Looks like a serious tool- this is no toy at all!
I had found some youtube videos… very tenpting
How were these? They appear to be really well made, I’m interested in how they perform sonically. I see there’s a silver coated option that’s reasonably priced. They’re really nice looking.
Are you talking about the silver braided IEM cable I showed 28 days ago?
If so- I did not hear any sonic differences between 4 or 5 also balanced IEM cables I recently purchased
Build is very good for the price and especially these are second best in tangle-free manners after the original T3 cable
if you are referring to the oidio sound UK cable- yes it is very well made and I can’t tell you if there is a benefit soundwise over a 5-10 $ Amazon cable
Though no problem with it at all
Sorry, I was referring to the Oidio. They have silver, and also 4pin XLR options (for adapters like the Hart Audio cables https://hartaudiocables.com/). They look really nice and they ship to the states.
Yes you can get all custom over the standard custom on the homepage- just send them a mail if you need something very special and it will be done
Always very friendly and easy communication
Now after brexit comes… maybe I try hartaudiocables(follow his work since the start on another forum)or periapt for some variation
My custom braided cables for the Sennheisers and the Elegia made by oidio are also perfect
Nice. I wanted a silver/silver-copper cable but they’re costly. These Oidio’s look really nice and aren’t very expensive for a silver-copper option. This would be much cheaper than the Audeze upgrade cable and I’d get to choose my color scheme.
Thank you!
Ohhh a box needs opening, let’s see what is inside.
Preview, any guesses?
Oh yeah, the IEMatch 2.5mm balanced audio optimiser.
Yet another arrival…
Decent packaging…
Base Audio G12…never heard of them…
Look interesting, remind me of another headphone

do you have any super easy to drive IEMs?
