When I lived in Vermont I drove 30 miles (about 50km) to and from work everyday. It was shit. I was so glad to get back to New York City and sell my car. I’ll take a subway ride over sitting in traffic any day of the week.
Yes!! Nice man!! Those IE900 IEMS are getting terrific reviews.
The Denmark comment brought to mind this 2006 news story about a 372 mile commute (598.7km roundtrip). This guy drove from Mariposa, California to San Jose. Mariposa is a small town in the mountains near Yosemite National Park. San Jose is across the state near the Pacific ocean.
It was 3.5 hours each way on mostly wide open highways through farm country. It was about like going from Copenhagen to Hamburg and back. Every day.
I had a 60 mile one way commute ( 96 km ) from our home in Eastern Oklahoma to Ft. Smith in Arkansas. It was Interstate 40 for almost all of the trip so it was relatively fast at least.

There is such a thing as a one-way commute?
If you fuck it up really badly …
Or if you’re going straight to hell!
Or the Hotel California (you can check in any time you like…)
I have an “express” ticket.
One way … straight dooooooowwwwnnnn!

I love these two little amps in combination with the IE900.
The Gryphon with 3D switched on is pure fun, while the M15 sounds extremely natural in this pairing.

I start a new job in August and will be one of those people. 58 miles/93 kilometers to work in the morning, and then 58 miles/93 kilometers returning to home in the evening. Mostly highway miles, so one-hour and five minutes driving time each way. I have never made this type of commute before.
For the number of required days that I shall work, I estimated petrol costs per year to be approximately $6,600 driving my large 3/4 ton Ford truck. So, I just purchased a 2011 Chevy Tahoe which will cost approximately $4,800 per year for petrol and should provide a better driving experience.
By the way,
if you need a recommendation regarding some “headphone exotics” and amp/DAC rarities here in Europe for example:
ZMF, Audeze, Grado or HolloAudio … and many others that are difficult to obtain in Europe without having to face import duties and VAT problems to get hurdle.
I have three recommendations for you here, with which I have already had good experiences:
I believe that you will probably spend your next vacation in Holland or Germany

Thanks a lot for the recommendations Lothar!
I will definitely have a good look at them (even though I promised myself not to order anything new… for at least a week
)
Ohh, another qualified guess, but I am sorry to disappoint, as I am actually leaving for a vacation in Spain on Wednesday - But hey - still 6 days to go, so I’ll guess I shouldn’t rule it out completely ![]()

If you’re considering Germany as a destination, let me know, a good drop of wine and some audio talk is always a good idea

Sounds like an excellent combination

Bought another shelf for my stand/rack. Had the Innuos stacked on the Rockna and couldn’t leave it like that. I like it having its own space.
What rack is that, looks nice
