What's in the box!

Do you anticipate getting any actual work done?

Well, I got to the office at 7am and started the first thing on my Friday to-do list at 2:30pm.
Sometimes that’s how it goes.
Besides, setting all that up is kinda like work…

This is my setup as well! The Pendant SE and Aeolus anyway. It’s a killer combo. Enjoy it!

You were the first person I thought of when I bought the Pendant, because I was regretting selling you the Valvos

That sounded like my Friday, but unfortunately, instead of listening to music, I was held captive by meetings.

Is that the Bifrost 2 OG or the 2/64?

Vic

It’s the 2/64
I wasn’t listening to music all day. I did assemble it first thing, was planning on bidding a bunch of jobs while test running it. Unfortunately one of the Middle Schools I service had every rooftop unit down, so I had to make an emergency site visit.

Oh that’s right, I have your pair! Those and the G73-R were the two rolls that made the biggest difference in my amp.

KBEAR 4.4mm balanced MMCX ordered from popular auction site. Super inexpensive cable, also have the 2.5mm variant. Light as a feather and doesn’t color the sound. Using with 7Hz Timeless OG and Shanling M6 Pro 21.

I bought a replacement pair of the Valvos already. Have been in the look out for G73-r as well. I’m debating on buying a pair for my La Scala and if I don’t like them, try one in the pendant.

Did you get the XLR to 1/4” adapter too?

Vic

Yes sir, I did. I tried the cable, but not the adapter yet.

Is that a Double Helix cable?

Let me know what you think of it - I’m looking for an adapter for my Arctic Magnus cable and was debating Arctic, ZMF, Norne, or Double Helix.

Vic

I have a few adapters (a wired one from Arctic, a wired one from Double Helix, and a wireless ‘Ultrashort’ one from Double Helix). They all work really well, so I don’t think there’s a wrong way to go with this.

I will say that the Ultrashort DHC adapter is sturdier, because there’s no wire to put strain on, whereas my Arctic adapter sometimes cuts out because the wire must have been pulled loose. This has nothing to do with Arctic’s build quality, I’m assuming it was my own error in accidentally tugging on the cable at some point.

Oooh, I haven’t heard of these yet, but color me intrigued! I have a feeling these will beat my Bose QCII earbuds handily in sound quality, but trail miserably in noise cancellation. If only someone could nail both THAT would be a billion dollar product.

So nice John. Love the coffee coloured wood of the Caldera. Looks incredible.
