Damm, I’m sorry you had to buy another Utopia. Thanks for not trying to buy your old one back. I would rather lose my favorite Porsche than give up those beauties. Sometimes I just grab them to feel the buttery soft leather. 
They remind me of a Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

Thanks! So far I am happy. For my first DAP, I couldn’t ask for more. Running Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, and working to geting Roon and Pandora running.

sounds like a very good choice for a first, second or even third DAP, from what I read.
Considered (N6ii) “Upgrades” would likely cost 2 times.

No need to be sorry brother, this one was acquired thanks to another great deal from headphones.com. I’m truly happy that you’re loving your Utopia and super stoked for having them back in my collection, it’s so far the only full size headphone that I repurchased, I’ve also done the same with the 64 Audio Tia Fourté IEMs…and no, I won’t repurchase the Stax-009S but I would do it in a heartbeat (funds permitting of course) for the SR1a.
Unfortunately the HEDDphone didn’t do it for me on the comfort department so it failed to become a suitable replacement for the Utopia.
Consider yourself blessed for having memories about how the leather of a Bugatti La Voiture Noire feels… I don’t even know how the inside of a Bugatti looks in real life. Lol

I just got notification that my Drop CTH has shipped out (it has taken a week to do so but that was already warned).
I’m not sure it will make it for my b’day but it will still be here before my Schiit even if it doesn’t make it until June

So it’s pretty damned good. Oddly enough the word that comes to mind is “polite”, which is very British.
I think that word is standing out to me because it’s a very pleasant sound, kind of like what smooth is aspiring to be…
