Cable looks really good. It’s actually good to have only one option in this case.
Those amphenol plugs are really something.
Yeah. They feel well made and look it. No complaints so far!
So you got the last batch before they went out of stock
I thought the HEDDphone would be a suitable replacement but unfortunately it isn’t so I had to bring the Utopia back to the collection.
Welcome back!!
The Utopia is just an amazing headphone…beautiful looking and sounding
Indeed brother! I love the looks, the sound and the comfort of the Utopia! HEDDphone One is just unable to give me all three…it only gives me the sound (plus neck pain, headache due to clamping pressure and a very uncomfortable listening experience - I’m always fiddling with it trying to alleviate the discomfort). No bueno!!!
Those do look really nice.
You should reverse engineer them.
The hard part is finding the wire. Unless you buy the insanely overpriced DIY wire at $12+ a foot from the people who already make custom headphone cables, or strip down quality star quad microphone cables like Mogami or Canare, then finding a source of cable with good flex, durability, size, electrical properties, etc… is stupidly difficult. Unless you want to commit to buying 1000’ spools, that is.
Besides, I’m not interested in getting into that market. I just like to make stuff here and there, and I know when what I can do isn’t as practical/cost effective as something I can buy straight away.
I just wish they give different option for the cable splitter. I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more for something different.
Ask him. matthew@forzaaudioworks.com He might have options.
I should’ve thought of this when I purchased it first time. Maybe for the next cable purchase. Thanks!
Continuing with Forza Audio Works Cables,
I received this a while ago and it is a great pigtail adapter, awesome build quality, very happy with it!
My Hart cable has floated around the US, then to Jamaica, then back to NY. Been 17 days
There are not enough pilots working. Also if it originates from USPS, they rely heavily on commercial airlines to carry some of the freight.
Thanks for the info. Everyone just has to be patient in the current climate. But if you’re like me I want everything yesterday.
