9 watts into IEM is a lot of heat on the coils, but a lot of headroom.

After +2 months waiting my Eikon arrived today. They are African Blackwood like my Aeolus bc I just love that wood and the picture below in sunlight shows why 
The main strap is also in suede which is my mistake, but I can order a leather strap later. So everything is black, even the wood, more or less, and the listening has begun. I don’t expect that much now, it needs burn in, but it is clearly a TOTL HP and I love just to touch and look at it.

the real estate for the wood on the closed back, makes it even more impressing! the grain is fantastic and in reality probably even a touch better looking
while I love both … the metal grills on his open backs …and ZMF´s closed backs - just for the looks … I would have a hard time to pick one of those. Good for you to have each!

Both look stunning and even my wife can see that They are quite different in sound and that is just out of the box and before any burn-in, so they complement each-other perfectly. And even though Zach says they are only 97% sealed, then for me it sounds like a 100%.
Anyone who likes classical music or soundtracks should try these; and that is just on a tube amp, I have not tried them on my THX with a balanced cable yet

Zach says his headphones synergize really well with Feliks Audio. He even mentioned it on the last stream. I’m going for the Echo sometime in the future so the Lyr 3 is as close as I’m getting for a while.

I didn’t know that, but that could help on future upgrades; only drawback is the cost for a Feliks amp. They are really nice and really expensive.

They do make some pretty serious products. Their lowest priced amp (the Echo) is still $500. Really curious about it after getting the Aeolus. Or should I get the amp first for the Atticus already here? Not sure. 
I know someone who is getting a Euforia for his Empyrean.

ordered these at the beginning of March or late feb. 4 months later… it’s finally here.
this is a 4.4mm female to xlr balanced adapter. 
Wild Lee from VE is a psychic. He must have known that it would get stuck in the mail for 4 months, and it would come just a couple days before my state is requiring masks by law to be worn.
