Great whisky shelf. Truly. I just don’t have space for that kind of display. Sure, we found places to display lots of early American pattern glass, and a few sets of depression glass, and some china that my wife likes, but that about finishes off the storage. I do collect the pattern glass - Seneca Loop, pre-civil war variety is leaded - and it was basically early bar glass. So I do like to have my drink in a glass AT LEAST 10 times older than the beverage.
But considering the season, and my new employee is taking off March 17 for “previous plans” I just picked up a bottle of Black Bush.
OK, my plans to come from Germany to California in the fall for a two-week vacation are set, now I’m of course still waiting for a “personal invitation” to have a drink and a cultivated conversation with an audiophile exchange 
In the meantime, I content myself with delicious wine!
By the way, if anyone is assuming I’m a true Campfire Audio fan………… well, you’re right
The primary rig got updated recently. The digital front was upgraded to fiber optic, a SOtM streamer, LPS snd USB regen, were added to get me off the laptop, the DAC was upgraded to a Sonnet Pasithea, and lastly a few of the cables were upgraded too.

Finally also got my solid state situation sorted with the long awaited Zähl HM-1 (replacing my Singxer SA-1/Schiit Lokius combo). It’s a beast of an amp and also acts as the new control center of my whole setup also preamping my monitors as well as my tube amps.
It’s on the other side of the pc on a woo stand. I rotate them out depending on what I’m using. I’ll eventually build a shelf or something to keep them on.
Company called cosmic cables. It’s the pure silver one. I like it, very good sounding and very flexible.
Need to get one for my Susvara. Thinking him again or maybe Viking weave.
