great mod! I will check this out, thanks
You bet and good luck!
Hey everybody, I’m new here, but I’ve been pretty active over at r/headphones for the last 3-4 years. I really like what Headphones.com is doing for the headphone community, including reviews and the Headphone Show, in addition to having some great deals on headphones. Just picked up the Ananda Open-Box myself, and can’t wait to get it.
Welcome to the forum @Grimlock248!
Congratulations on the Hifiman Ananda!
Hope you enjoy it! It is a great set of cans and your top deal makes it a no brainer
I would be interested in your impressions, after some time
Have a good time with the community!
Hey, I remember you! Welcome.
Just joined and settling in. I should mention I have always been into audio ever since I heard live music as a child of 8. I later worked at places like Crazy Eddie and The Wiz. Later I developed a web site when the web was new called exoticaudio see pic- cheers to all obsessed!
Hello and welcome @Grimlock248 and @whatugot. Great having you here.
Welcome to all of the new members, due to the protection of data laws enforced on me by the European Parliament, I will refrain from naming you all
I hope you enjoy this great forum!
Welcome to all the new members!! This will surely be one of your favorite places to chat audio!
Hello and welcome @mikaell, @brian and @Kierkegaard.
Thanks and Hello to all members!
Welcome to the community.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
I live in Italy, love music, recently started using headphones with amps and even tried out a small tube amp. Dt880 and Sundaras are my experience up until now, on entry level dac/amps --> ifi zen dac, Lake People G109a, Bravo Audio V2, as well as a NuPrime USB Hi-mDAC.
Listen to lots of classical, especially baroque, but also other genres, early alternative, bluegrass, American and Argentinian folk, just to mention some.
Very curious about experimenting with the sound of music through different amps and phones and sources (although I don’t have the time for it, or shouldn’t have the time for it at any rate), especially at an entry to low mid level budget. The whole tube thing is fascinating in particular.
Hello and welcome @cwichura and @Fastpedaler.
Thanks for the welcome! Let’s just say I’m middle-aged, and I’m getting back in to audio after not thinking about it much for a long time. I noticed younger people like to work with headphones on, and when I tried it I found it was good for me. So, I’m exploring the wonders of desktop audio, and IEMs - inexpensive ones, at least to start. I’m an engineer, so prone to over-thinking things. Looking forward to getting some advice to cut through the clutter - and hopefully contributing as well.
Please define that. Are you calling us old?
Welcome to the community.
I’m middle-aged. And Middle Earthed.
What IEM tips work for dwarves?
