New Here? This Is The Spot To Introduce Yourself

Middle aged … my ears don’t work quite as well as they once did. (Knees too, but that’s not relevant for this forum.) :grinning:

I like to think of it as half-experienced!
(The Full experience means it’s time to get off the ride :face_with_raised_eyebrow:)

Thanks for the welcome note. Hoping to learn from the veterans here and maybe offer a thought or two when I think I know something that would help others.

Hello, new here, but with lots of experience when it comes to headphones.

I’m very much into DIY, designing and building my own headphones from scratch, and love working on audio-related things in general. I hope to get a chance to share some of my stuff with the community over here.

Thank you! Looking forward to getting deeper into headphones, 15+ years with the sennheiser 600/650, wondering if there could be a step higher?

Hello

thank you @prfallon69. I am from Germany and love listening to music. Most of the time I listen to Metal.
My headphones are AirPods Pro and Mee Pinnacle P1 for on the go and Grado GH2 and Focal Elegia for listening at home. As DAC/AMP I use a Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt. But I am thinking about selling it and buy a ifi Hip-DAC because of the Bass Boost. Sometimes I think my Elegia could use a little extra boom. @Resolve suggests this combo I think.
I use a iPhone and a MacBook with Tidal and bought FLACs. I own Audirvana and I am testing Roon at the moment. The EQ function seems great. But I don’t need all the extra in Roon. So I don’t know if I want to pay extra for this.

Thank you for any help and recommendations I will get
Marc
