Hello Paul, my name is Terry Britner, I live in Connecticut. I’m Retired over three years now. I have always loved music. When I heard of HIRES music years ago I purchased the PONY which I still have somewhere. They eventually went out of business.
Over the last two years I have been trying to learn and absorb as much as I can about items, but it sure would be easier if I had knowledge base in electronics!
I have found a kindred spirit (listening wise) in BGGAR on YouTube and just recently noticed The HEADPHONE Community, which I joined.
Equipment that I have, I use my computer with JRIVER which has many albums purchased from HDtracks.
Currently using RMEADI-2 DAC FS, and CHORD MOJO/Poly. Also have FOCAL Shape 50’s, that I love the sound so much. They are my reference.
IEMs- many best ones are Sony EIR-Z1R they are very nice sounding.
Headphones, my first purchase years ago was Ultrasound, I now have Fostex Th900 MK2, Sony MDR-Z1r, Focal Elgia, and a recent purchase Hifiman HE6se modded with earpads and grills. I just today purchased Audeze LCD-X, always wanted to try Audeze.
Daps, I have Sony Nw-wm1z, Calyx M and Cayin N3PRO.
I just ordered Cayin HA-6A tube amp, but am not sure if when it arrives I return it because I haven’t figured out the space for it.
Also just purchased Chord Hugo 2 for a reduced price that I’m waiting for.

Hi Terry, what a great introdution. You sound like you’re going to fit right in here. There’s no experience necessary here. That’s the great thing about this place. I pretty much kow nothing compared to most of the guy’s on here. But they will go out of their way to help people. That’s what makes this such a great community.
