Hey everyone. I’ve been into headphones now for many years from a music production background, but I didn’t jump into the expensive stuff until 2021. I have a pair of Audeze LCD-XCs that I’m selling, but I hope to jump back in within the next few months and try out the Focal ecosystem. I spent too much time learning EQ curves and now I can’t listen to anything that is too far off the Harman curve without getting annoyed. I’ve also been dabbling with IEMs, but they tend to be too uncomfortable for long sessions. Maybe a custom fit will be in my future…who knows?

Seems like I am slowly (?) rolling into this hobby. I listen to music via my PC, and years ago a PCIe conflict led me from a soundcard to my first DAC (AudioEngine D1). Which triggered the purchase of an AT MSR7b instead of the gaming-oriented headphones of before. Now, a new DAC (Fiio K7) has made me subsequently mod the MSR7b, and search for a new headphone. Actually, that new headphone is already a twin. :-s Wish me luck 
Hopefully I am be able to contribute something from time to time instead of only absorbing the knowledge gathered here.

That’s a noble thought. But don’t worry too much, they tolerate a lot of drivel from old goofballs like me and @generic as long as we talk about music and keep our actual “content” to things we at least think we have a clue about.

I love headphones. I love both old and new music. I own srveral pairs of headphone My favorite pair is my Focal Bathys. I purchased them from Headphones.com. i listen to music several hours a day
I mostly use Spotify . I love the Dec mode on my Bathys. I have a pair if Sony M5. I like to discuss all types of headphones and look forward to meat new people and hear what they have experience has been.
