Hello, just joined and have recently had the great pleasure of meeting both Andrew and Taron in person.
My audio/hi-fi journey began basically since my childhood, as my father has been into home theater and 2-channel for as long as I can remember.
I hope to contribute to this forum with the knowledge and experience I have gained along the way.
From first impressions, this seems to be a great community and I’m glad to be able to be a part of it.

Pretty new to this hi-fi audio topic even though I am a musician. At the moment I’m reading a lot of reviews and measurement tests to get to know the components and how they work. Also to build up some knowledge what to buy.

Hello everyone,
Have been a longtime reader of this forum and figured I should finally join and contribute! I work in technical sales for a cloud security company in the Bay Area. Have always been into music and discovering new artists but just recently got into the hobby of collecting great gear. It all started when I had a sound card in my computer go bad and decided I would look at getting a nice external DAC/Amp for some HD650’s.
In my short time in the pursuit of finding my perfect sound I have amassed quite a bit of gear but my current setup is Roon > Matrix X Sabre Pro MQA > SPL Phonitor XE. Also have the RME ADI-2 FS and the Woo WA7. Have a ZMF Pendant that should be delivered tomorrow as well.
As far as headphones I recently got the ZMF Verite, Auteur, and Aeolus. Loving all of them for different genres but so far the Aeolus has gotten the most love. With everything going on I have been working from home and they have been great for constantly switching playlists when getting some work done. Enjoy the fun sound signature of these and they do a great job of transporting me into the music and out of tedious work. Also have the LCD X and Senn HD800S but the ZMF’s have been what I have been reaching for since I got them. As far as IEMs I have the Campfire Andromeda and Polaris II but these were mostly for travel so haven’t much attention lately.
As far as other hobbies I am into building gaming PC’s but unfortunately don’t have the time, eyesight, or reflexes like I used to to play some of my favorite games online. I am also into tattoos and pretty much halfway covered in them. I had the awesome experience of being the canvas for my artist in a few of the different tattoo competitions around the US. Always happy to talk gaming, PC hardware, and tattoos!
