Yes I read that. A researcher at Harvard noted that reviewers on Yankee Candle’s were complaining about the candles lacking smell. Well and its also noted that a lack of smell could be contributed as a reaction to covid. Lack of smell is one of the after effects one is left with. My brothers wife had covid a year ago and her ability to smell things to this day is difficult.
No scent is waaaaaay better than the waxy paraffin scent of some candles. Actually, I hate scented candles in all forms because the waxy-burning smell lingers forever. Amazon can send them my way and I’ll turn my house into a candlelit cathedral.
Someone else said that to me a while ago, and that it messed with their sense of taste too. Sad world.
