Those look like the 4’s (I think). Very nice. Hopefully not too heavy for you.

They are the 4’s they are in 1st place with my 1266 tc. Lucky that I’m not bothered by the weight. I’m use to heavy headphones.

Congrats @BondDaBoom!

Must be a great feeling to open this special box the first time!

I’m with you on weight. From nothing comes nothing (a german phrase translated probably not perfect)

My LCD-X were too heavy for me. They sounded great but didn’t meet my comfort needs. Those are beautiful headphones.

Curious, how do you pronounce Audeze? Is is “odd-uh-zee” or “odd-ease” or something else entirely? Thanks

I always understood it as merging “Audio” and “Odyssey” – or creating an audio adventure. So the first option, “odd uh zee,” seems right.

I pronounce it the same as Odyssey.

I pronounce it Awww-Deze. I also use 2 syllables for Schiit, just like we did in rural Missouri where I grew up. “She-yit”

We pronounce most things down here in Australia different.

Some examples;

Audeze-Mate
Shit-Mate

I thought vegemite determines everything.

Audeze-mite sandwich.
Schiit-mite sandwich.

Vegemite has a Dick Smith rip off called Dickmite. Not as good though.

We also are crazy about Weet-Bix. Milo. Snags. Prawns. Schooners. Pluggers. Few other things.

Simple folk.

Not “Awwwdee-mate”? Usually things are shortened.

I pronounce Audeze, Aww-dee-zeee

99.99999% of Australians have no idea headphones can cost more than $300. That’s like 8 cases of beer and a mixed meat BBQ pack.

Dare I ask… …

Just a pack of meat. Some snags. Rissoles. Steaks. Chops. Then we bbq then all until almost black, and cover in tomato sauce.

Sorry. We “grill” various meats then cover in “ketchup”
