What's in the box!

I can’t keep away from this amp. It is a big improvement over standard. It just sounds better. It is night and day. I did jump as I was startled by a sound that was produced 3ft away from me. I love psychoacoustics. Good thing it doesn’t happen too much or I’d be on edge listening to it.

Was anyone here looking for a Solitaire P I ordered a second set and I can’t return it. If so it’s arriving Monday. Yes it’s that good thought of having one for work.

When do you have the time to listen?:drooling_face:

I guess it is the Elite edition with JPS wires?
The standard edition is difficult enough around here bc of WAF, but the Elite would cost me my marriage, I am quite sure…

So kudos!

My marriage is already for sale. So live on the edge. I went just Elite.

Received these in the mail today first thing i ordered from drop like more than 2 months ago.

Does anyone knows how to pop open the grill on the side. I saw some people using them without the foam behind the grill and i want to try it and see or ear for myself.

Check on YouTube. There are tons of videos tutorial to properly disassemble it.
These are the last I remember of:

P.S. Just to second the little paranoid that lives in me. Why you want to retune them? Give it a try for some weeks then eventually do it.

No problem Shaun, it was just my little paranoid voice inside  I modded a pair of HD6XX for a friend during this week and I was just curious.
The beauty of Sennheiser headphones is that you can disassemble them just by hands.
They’re the modders’ dream.
Enjoy

No suspense with this one:

with some learning to do first:

Decided to play the box game, I’ve opened many lately without pictures, figured I’d try this time around.

Just make it first and then do the learning to see if you did it right. Much more fun that way, at least for those of us who read about your experience.

How hard can it be? Heat up the solder thing and melt stuff. And then you have a tube amp.

I “learned” to solder upside down under the dash of a Honda on a customers alarm 25 years ago. I have never learned to read resistors, or unsolder a joint, and when it comes to physical skills acquisition, I am slower than most.

I usually have more fun these days when I’m not looking for the big hammer to erase my mistakes.

I don’t know how it sounds, and I don’t care. It looks awesome.
