I just got a Stressless Admiral a couple weeks ago for my listening chair and I’m very happy with it so far. It’s very comfortable with the only flaw so far is I keep falling asleep while listening.

You guys make me want it even more!!
How heavy are those recliners? My living room where I watch TV and my part-time-man-cave where my audio setup is are on separate floors. I wonder if reasonable to move it up and down say once a day?

It’s not too heavy and easy to move around, but I wouldn’t take it up and down stairs without help.

Took nearly 2 weeks via Priority Mail, but they’re finally here. I’ve bought 10 sets of EL84 & 7189 tubes looking for some more bass and more of a “wow” factor with my recently purchased Tuba amp. These ones did it. I was reluctant to spend so much on tubes for a $700 amp, but he had some used ones that were still strong and half the price of completely NOS. Should have just gone for these in the first place.

Great looking chair, it looks both stylish and comfortable. You have a beautiful home too.

Agree with the up and down stairs, just get two

Still trying to justify the price of one… :unamused:
2 stores within 20 miles supposedly have some Stressless in their showroom. Maybe will pay them a visit and see what all the hype is about.

I have the Pixelbook Go and love it

I’ve had my Leap for the last 6 years or so and it’s been fantastic as a home office chair. No mesh or chrome or anything fancy, just great ergonomics and it’s held up very well. Lots of other nice ones out there I’m sure but I’m definitely a Leap fan.

Which model did you get?

I also have two, a large for me and a medium for my wife, ours are going on 10 years old, and still look mostly new, they really hold up well.

I ended up purchasing a large Admiral in Chocolate (brown) with Walnut base; our local Dania had them in stock at their warehouse, so had it in less than a week. If you have a chance to try out different models and sizes, I highly recommend that.

Admiral seems to be VERY popular and one of the least expensive models, so will definitely try this one out!
Color wise - looking online, I was gravitating towards Chocolate and Walnut too!!

I bought my pair at a Dania, and I couldn’t get them in my first color choice because I wanted 2 different sizes and because of what they had in stock. They were willing to discount what they had in stock but it was upto a 3 month wait for a special order and no discount, so I compromised.

Never thought I’d learn so much about high end chairs on an audio forum🤣 it’s crazy, we were just sofa shopping a couple weeks ago and the wait times are nuts!! Lazyboy was October for the sectional we wanted.

This showed up today. Wanted to try a smaller Metrum product, before I shelled out for one of its big brothers or Sonnet Morpheus. So far really impressed.

Those Stressless chairs look nice! I need to go sit in one… I was at Macy’s Furniture yesterday and sat in this chair that’s on sale for $1150 with the ottoman (in store price). Not sure about the long-term quality or how it compares to Stressless, but it looks nice and was fairly comfortable: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/annaldo-leather-swivel-chair-ottoman-2-pc.-set?ID=2873937
