I’ve bought a number of Geekria items off Amazon, a 3.5mm TRRS Headphone Cable, Various 3.5mm Adapters and they’ve all been good quality.

Wow that wood is gorgeous! It may not be what you ordered but it sure looks nice.
I’ve bought their replacement pads for numerous Grados (including the GS-1000e’s I just got) and they are good quality at a reasonable price.
It’s heeeeeeere!!!
Only sharing the one unboxed photo of the demo Stratus, as it is a prototype unit and has some cosmetic elements that won’t be there for production units. I cleared this photo with Donald before posting.
I have shared some initial impressions on the Stellaris thread. Ultra short summary: insanely low noise floor and amazing imaging, but I think I could tighten things up even more with some better tubes. If anyone would be so gracious as to allow me to borrow some high-end 2A3 and/or 5U4G tubes, I would be willing to compensate for the time with the tubes and also provide a deposit for the full value of the tubes.
I didn’t mean to dump on Geekria – I’ve bought other items from them and do like the brand. I was dumping on me posting a photo of such a small purchase. It’s a sub $10 item intermixed with $500, $2,000, or $5,000 items. However, I hadn’t noticed the need until recently and it did improve the HD-600’s comfort.
I didn’t think you were dumping on Geekria, it being sub $10, like most of their stuff, was the thing I noticed too. Thing is, those multi-$100 or $1000 items sometimes won’t work without a $10 adapter. So having a good supplier for those “must have” items is no bad thing.

I didn’t take it that way either.
Is this a new version of the Stratus?
Yes, sir. I have no idea what the details of the updates are, though.
I’m still breaking in mine from November. Curious to hear what’s new when the news is available.
BTW, recently rolled in EMLs to replace stock 2A3s and much better!
The amp finally came in on Friday. A&S Bigger Ben. Never though the tubes coming from China would beat the amp by 2 months.
It’ll be interesting to see how much of an improvement this is over the original Stratus,
which sold for about $3000. When I spoke with Donald, he said that the updated Stratus should get much closer to the Stellaris - performance wise - than the original Stratus.
This updated version is supposed to cost between $4000 and $4500.
I mostly use mine as a roon endpoint and works great
Had these for a little over a week and I’m extremely happy with them. The VOs are great but I think these really take it to the next level. Hard to believe these are closed back and sound this good.
Beautiful, congrats!
Which pads are your go-to?
I know, right?! Being closed-back definitely has its pitfalls but being a little bit isolated from the world outside is something else…
Thank you! I’m very fortunate.
Lol I’m still using the Auteur pads. I really like them and haven’t changed yet. Getting a good feel for them. I always was a universe pad guy on the VO. I’ll give them a shot soon enough. I doubt I’ll like the be2 but theyll get a run last.
I don’t really see a downside to these closed backs. Other that not hearing what’s going on around me, Im good with it. They don’t seem closed, it’s odd.
Just great colouring on those. Very lovely set of cans.
Thank you. Zach and Co did an amazing job. I was looking for a darker set with some gray.
Well those still look great. My stain for the VO turned out different than I pictured in my head but after 5 minutes I forgot about it.
Yeah, these have some grey in them but it’s odd how the light hits them. They’re a little darker and look different in certain lighting too. Either way I’m happy with them.
