all one could want - very cool, while the small DAC could easily be stuffed away somewhere and left powered on forever
for 20 more you could get the THX AAA 789. Are there any reasons besides availabilty, why you decided for the LCX??

I have the 788 so my THX fix is filled so no real need for the 789. I love the sound of the LCX and wanted to replace my borked one.
The SDAC-B is a very nice, clean, analytical sounding DAC.
