I totally understand. That is a bummer. Maybe you will get an opportunity to try a pair so you can know for sure.
I agree with @Lothar_Wolf , would love to see a detailed review of @dbstechtalk 's new rig. Bound to provide more eye-candy!

@mgosdin @Lothar_Wolf I will for sure do a full written review on my website; I promise it will include more eye candy. I am planning an impressions video at some point in the near future so be on the lookout for that as well.
Nice finish match to that blue Mini.
Thanks. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they match, wasn’t expecting it to be so good.
I have a first gen Satin Grey Mini. It’s a wonderful amp.
How does the weight of the headphones feel? Is weight distribution good?
I had a set of Audeze LCD-X for a time. Weight was a factor in my selling them.
Awesomeness I nearly went with the satin grey but the blue was just to alluring.
I don’t have any issues with the RAD-0 fit and comfort other then the weight. I find that the clamp force is a touch much but similar to a new HD600. I wore them for about 8 hours today and had no discomfort, random breaks thrown in here and there. My RAD-0 weighs 629g according to my scale but that isn’t an official weight from Rosson. Been a long time since I had any LCD on my head but I find the RAD-0 more comfortable then any LCD I’ve tried based on my memory.
Thanks for that feedback. Looking forward to reading more of your comments as you wear them in.
Cheers…Robert
The second pair Lins??
Yes it is. Great construction and build especially on the Linlai.
Your rack is tubed up! You’re set for some blissful evenings!!! Congrats!!!
Will be interesting to hear the difference between that amp and your Stellaris
Obligatory box-on-chair shot …
First thing you see when you open the flaps …
And a quick-and-dirty shot of the thing on its initial rack …
I like the looks of my GS-X mini but the BHSE is another level. Hopefully the sound matches the looks! Did you get the dact or rk50 volume?
I think all of Justin’s builds look awesome.
I’ll save proper comments on sound for another day, as it’s barely been powered up for a couple of hours so far, but for now I’ll just say it not only sounds better than it looks but also better than I remember (and my recall was of a first-rate delivery).
I went with the Alps RK50 volume control.
Exactly 2.5 weeks from placing my order to receiving the unit, so WELL within the estimated build/delivery time.
I bet you’re struggling with the wait for the CRBN even more now! Enjoy the BHSE RK50 too, nice
Finally! A proper chair pic from Torq. LoL
A Stellaris AND an Eddie Current? I would probably never leave home.
