What's in the box!

@TylersEclectic - let me know what you think of them, please? Be honest. I can take it. :ok_hand:

At first glance I thought @TylersEclectic had somehow got my cables

I can’t show them now because I am locked in my house (with the walls closing in) but my office cable for the HD6XX is the same colour paracord with the same connectors!

Nice work @ProfFalkin

I know he probably asked for purple. But next time, choose one of those purples where like you think it’s purple but your wife comes in and tells you its blue. And you never know.

Looks nice though! Price?

Actually, he left the color choice to me. It seemed natural that I should give him an ocher and cornflower blue cable, but the Paracord store didn’t have a great selection of those colors.

Cornflower blue… thats the colour of the gloves I wear for the less serious Covid stuff. Ive always been fond of it.

Hello chaps. I’ve got a question I hope someone maybe to help me with. I’ve ordered something from the US and it was dispatched a week ago. I have tracking on it but it says its prepared for despatch to UK. It’s status hasn’t changed in a week. It’s not moved or hasn’t been updated and says it’s still in San Francisco. Is this usual? I normally have no issues at all. Do you think it’s entirely down to Covid-19? Thanks in advance.

Hi @prfallon69 .
It is possible with all this madness that it still there for a week but also is maybe moving forward and they haven’t made an update of the transit.

Border crossings are variable. Big time shippers like amazon get stuff across quick but I have found that smaller outfits tend to have their items float at the border. A week is a bit long but I have had it happen before. Have the shipper ask for the item to be looked for, in the past I have had to do that and then the item miraculously reappears. If it is over a week I would do this for sure. Covid can be contributing if they are prioritizing certain products but it is not “unusual” from my experience.

Usually once it crosses the border the tracking should tell you, as you are likely aware of.

Thanks @Hansel and @perogie. Pretty much what was going through my mind. I may leave it until after the weekend. Again thanks for your input.

I’ve waited a month or two for shipments from China - long before COVID19.

@prfallon69 I’ve had similar issues as well where an item will be “stuck” at an entry point… then randomly says out for delivery as the next update… also Covid-19 is probably causing havoc…

@prfallon69 I agree with what’s been previously stated by @Hansel, @perogie, and @TylersEclectic.

Give it till Monday and if there’s no change in status, contact the shipper.

Stay safe.

@generic, fortunately I’ve never had to wait an entire month for a parcel. That must have been maddening. Thankfully it finally arrived.

Pocket knives. GearBest. Only a single shipper would accept the liability.

Yes, thanks everybody. I will keep you updated. I think it’s on the way to UK now.

Just my tuppence…

I ordered the UF from Linsoul on the 3rd of March, they made it to Brussels on the 1st of April and have been stuck there since.

I also have various other shipments for work stuck in various places around the world.

According to a few couriers, flights have been reduced a lot and anything that is marked as medical or necessary supplies automatically take preference so things get pushed back until a space is available.
