@Jsim That is a beautiful Euforia! I gotta say they are some of the best looking tube amps I have seen!

As you said before Starlett gets compared alot, wish I had the Euforia in so I could do a comparison. Maybe in the future at a meet if someone brings one!

@SleepyRhythms Very nice! Love the shilling for Feliks  jokes they are great amps. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers! Yeah I really appreciate the simplistic yet elegant and modern aesthetic of the Euforia. Aesthetics had no direct influence on this purchase decision of mine, but yeah I really love the aesthetics of it. Nice and compact too, doesn’t take up a ridiculous amount of desk space.

If you happen to live somewhere close to The Netherlands I’d totally be game for a meetup to get those beauties together and get a chance to compare them. My search may have come to an end, but my curiosity on experiencing new things will never end.

Had some mail contact with someone from Feliks Audio too. Very friendly and helpful attitude, humble yet highly knowledgeable and proud of their own products. Same kind of comforting vibe I recall from JDS Labs, which is quite the praise haha. So yeah, I feel like those guys deserve the praise they’ve been getting for sure.

Unfortunately I am on the other side of the pond in the US.

I would be lying if I said aesthetics wasn’t an attributing factor to the gear I get. I would say it’s def a tiebreaker at least.

Haha yeah not a surprise. Europeans seem to be a minority in these online communities.

And yeah I can’t deny that aesthetics definitely do play a big part in my purchase decisions overall, but thankfully the sound of the Euforia alone was enough to win me over.

Speaking of, you’ve given me the urge to replace my 789 with an Asgard 3. Purely for aesthetic reasons though. I just convinced myself to not be so silly, and you’ve given me the itch back lol. Kinda wanted to wait and see if a Jotunheim 2 would be coming out any time soon, but I guess an Asgard 3 would essentially provide all I really need from a SS amp.

I think it all comes to what you enjoy! I think that the A3 might be a better fit if you enjoy the tube sound. I personally don’t like lean or bright sounding gear, so thats why I sway away from THX stuff normally. As for a Jotunheim 2, not sure about that. The Jotunheim is also a similar sound signature to the THX, not as bright and lean but def more so than the Asgard 3.

I imagine that they are going to come out with a new amp/revamp an amp into the same profile as the Modius. I would recommend possibly waiting for that to come out before making a decision.

I just know I don’t do SS critical listening, and this is just for me to listen to stuff when working or watching youtube videos/netflix. The aesthetics are nice though. Matches my Modius and my soon to be purchased Gungnir MB. I also have an iMac I use so it all ties well in together! Aesthetics again lol

Yeah the current Jotunheim is just a dated product. Seems out of place in Schiit’s product lineup, and I’m sure they’re at least aware of that themselves.

Yeah and that’s just it for me as well. Ever since I started exploring the market of tube amps, I’ve started to lose my appreciation for the 789 and having given the Euforia a run through my massively varied library of music now, I just don’t feel like there’s much of a reason for me to keep the 789 for the sound it delivers. I just want to have a SS amp available as a reference and for anything not related to listening to music. I’ll for sure hold off on any decisions for the time being, but I guess an Asgard 3 wouldn’t be such a bad idea. At least then I can fully downscale to a 100% single-ended setup on my desk too.

Agreed! I am not sure about pricing in Europe but in the US you could sell a THX789 for around $280 to $300 and then buy an Asgard 3 for $200. Make that sweet profit LOL

These kick ass for edm.

It’s weird the treble sounds like it’s coming from another location in my ear. Like it’s on acid.

I really like the design of these, but never got into the sound signature enough to get a set for myself…maybe I should give them another shot…

When I came across Zeo’s review he said they are amp dependent. This only made me wait a long time to try them. On the WA33 and TT2 they are one of my favorites.

Perfect for EDM at home.

It’s almost as if it was intentional haha. I think I may have had some influence in speeding up the process of @SleepyRhythms submitting to the Echo splurge though…

I do feel like the Euforia would be spectacular with both the Vérité and Arya. It’s not a relaxed or warm sounding amp. This is freaking fireworks. Intense and highly dynamic, but not at all fatiguing…

The tube magic is real. Basically how @Jsim and I are reacting. He went all in on his poker chips getting the (much) bigger brother. Ask away if you have any questions.
