Oh I’ve demoed - it’s pretty good, I prefer it to the Arche, but only because of Tidal as a source and the ease of carrying it around the house (and to the office).
Currious, you using the tidal app ot UAPP? I imagine it will be less noticable because of avoiding the resampling, but there us still a fairly stark difference in non-mqa tracks between uapp, tidal, and local files of the same master imo
Edit: mixing up players. Hiby let’s tidal bypass android. Ibasso does not
And where the hell did you figure out where to demo at? The c9 is one I’ve wanted to demo for a bit. That and the LPGT, 220 max, and Hugo 2. Only one I have even found a place taht does demos for is the h2 and they are only open while I’m at work -.-
I’m in Singapore - went to Zepplin & Co. Very dependent on where you are I guess!
Yeah I was just using the Tidal on the DX300.

Thank you. Been in the headphone and hifi community for some years. I figured I’d see what’s going on I’m this neck of the woods.
I’ve been changing some of my headphone gear as of late and pretty much fell in love with running eq (fab filter pro q) and goodhertz canopener and mid side for some cross feed and stereo field processing. Not sure id want to go back to listening without these plugins no matter how good the headphone I can always seem to improve it with how good software is these days.
