@dncnexus had a great suggestion about a meet up for those in the DC area, once the current situation improved. I was thinking this would be a good place holder to gauge interest and facilitate the organization until then.
As @Roark mentioned I would be in attendance and I know a couple more who would also be joining. I think we could get a pretty good get together going and demo a bunch of gear and talk headphones/amps/dacs!

I’d be down as well, I’ve got something planned for November 7th tho truthfully it would be cool to take a full 10 days and maybe run up to DC right after the other meet
I sorta have some rather cool top of the line stuff, tho I’m still working out the details between customs among other things.

It’s awesome to see this much interest so quickly, I’ve never participated or helped organize a meet before.
If anyone has suggestions or willing to run point please have at it. Not sure if a local HiFi dealer would be open to hosting, or where a good location would be. I would host in my condo community room, unfortunately that is currently off-limits.

Due to the recent virus outbreak and recent rise in cases I think we will have some time before we would be able to safely meetup. This will give us time to establish where and when we can set this up at. I can ask around at some of the local HiFi dealers and see what I can find out. I will keep this thread updated.

I think the iFi folks are "somewhat’ local too, so sometimes you may get them to support.

I completely agree, was not thinking anytime soon. Heck, I have quarantine for 14 days when I fly back to DC. A few months away at the least, maybe even 2021 depending how the outbreaks continue.

Why can’t you Washington, D.C. people have your meetings on Zoom?
It’s too hard to squeeze headphones through Internet wiring for a demo without scratching the finish, let alone sending them via wi-fi…
