b-stock Blackwood Verite Open with Rose Gold. They’re much darker in normal lighting but this was in my car on a bright day (couldn’t wait to see them!)

All these B stocks look beautiful. Were there anything noticable about it that made it B stock?
I received some b stock pads and a salire stand and can’t find why they might be B stock.

I wondered the same after looking at all of these beautiful pictures. ZMF’s B-stock is phenomenal - reminds me of Allen Edmonds’ “seconds,” which hardly ever have noticeable flaws.
In practice (I have no proof), B stock is a way to offer a sale price without discounting the regular product. Items may get tagged as “second tier” to preserve resale/used values while they unload excess inventory.
I twice bought Audeze B stock items as marked on the outer box but with regular retail items inside. I’ve bought Schiit B stock items both with and without visible flaws. They can be plainly flawed, so YMMV.
My wife told me that the high-end leather goods company Coach (and other brands) sells a different product line in their big city showrooms (e.g., NYC) versus factory outlets. They actually use the showrooms to promote the products and set price expectations, while the bulk of their sales occur at lower prices in the “outlets.”

Beautiful! Love the grain in them, along with the rose gold accents. I’ve been skeptical of the Blackwood as I want to see the wood grain - but, wow, in the right light they are artwork. Congrats and happy listening!

No, just wanted to play with some of the different brands of NOS tubes (based largely on your comments on headfi) and see how it changes from most neutral to most warm and such. Trying things such as all RFT, all Amperex (except the EZ81). Another Mullard arrived yesterday, 1957 Blackburn long plate D getter 12AU7 so that’s actually what is in there now.
