Spring is here
Gorgeous! Which wood?
It’s the LTD Koa wood.
Wow that was quick! They must have had some all done and ready to go
Wow. That Koa is next level.
Koa is such a bueatiful wood. Seeing those reminds me I want to get Koa all wood acoustic guitar. They are a warm beautiful sounding guitar. I also like the Seagull S6 original with cherry wood; I wish they made an all solid wood cherry version… but I digress
Came last night, picked up this morning after 12 hour shift.
I haven’t had much time to listen yet. Tried the Stellia with 3.5mm SE and 4.4mm balanced. Both cables are the Meze Classic 99 upgrade with silverlining. 3.5mm should good. Felt distorted a little a higher volumes. Still a good sound to me. 4.4mm balanced stay clean a higher volumes. Definitely push the headset. More separation.
Congratulations @Botmann.
Congrats! I think you will love the K9 Pro. AK or ESS version?
It’s the ESS version. I also have the BTR5, which is also the ESS version.
A rare breed these days, Eikonis Camphorus. One of the last Eikons to roam the wild, before I caught it and put it in my trophy room.
Ordered mine today! Aged copper/cherry, can’t wait
Big gain headphone-hunter!
If you like HARD hitting bass and beautifully crafted WOOD cups you won’t be disappointed.
One of the more beautiful and interesting camphor models I’ve seen!
I unquit audio to quit again.
After taking the headphones out, I quickly removed all the pads, disinfected it with Clorox wipes and then dump the whole thing into a UV cleaner. 30 year old headphones… no idea how it’s been handled, plus the pads were disintegrating any time i touched it.
Replaced them with new fresh pads and headband…
