If listening from an Apple source, make sure you go through setting up Headphone Accommodations. Makes a big difference vs. default.

The hybrid is for the VO and the other two will mostly be used with the Auteur. I have just now unboxed them, give me a few days and I’ll tell you if I can hear a difference.

The Sonic Maximizer restores natural brilliance and clarity to an audio signal by the use of two integrated functions. First, it adjusts the phase relationships between the low, mid and high frequencies through adding progressively longer delay times to lower frequencies, creating a kind of mirror curve to neutralize the effect of loudspeaker phase distortion. Second, the Sonic Maximizer augments higher and lower frequencies as loudspeakers tend to be less efficient in their extreme treble and bass ranges. All set up! Definitely less efficient than my old school definitive tech Mythos 4, but the staging sounds wider, with better separation and imaging. Looking forward to getting them a proper amp eventually. Early impression they are pretty awesome for the price.

That pair was sadly snatched out of my hands by @Resolve before I could even think about opening the box. He’s got a real knack for showing up at the office moments after the couriers

lol. I heard you guys commenting about this one in the last show and was curious about it.
This looks like DSP in a box. It probably has cheap ADC/DAC components and I’m confident my Focusrite Scarlett has better components than this box. 
They offer this tool as VST as well. Folks, should you like to learn about DSP, there’s a specific thread for this:
That box may be fun but will certainly degrade your audio signal.
