I had the JBL 306p II set before, for around 10 days and was very underwhelmed.
Plan A was to go for the HEDD Type 05 and a sub later on, though I need another screen for our second PC setup and budget is not endless
The Wife Acceptance is higher on the Adams, compared to the shiny JBLs, even though they are quite big. She listened to the T8V’s for a minute and told me, that they Sound way better and the upgrade made Sense

I forgot to post this a few weeks ago, dug it up from a hiding place at my parents house. I probably was going to get this back when I was a teenager and did something stupid, so my dad said F’ck you and hid from me all these years. It is brand new, and I think it belongs in a museum:

It is great. Using a pair of 6xx it was difficult to tell the difference between it and the Magnius/Modius. It could be that reading reviews and specs have colored my impression of its amp section, because I believe it is first and foremost a dac with streaming.

Really liking these a lot, the EarMen Sparrow drives them really well, so does the Matrix of course. Going to try the LowZ jack on the Ovation later today.
Especially cool drum sounds and nearly hallucinogenic imaging. These remind me of when I was in middle school and first discovered mescaline and would make a tepee out of my cheap Panasonic towers over my head and just float away into the music…
Vocals are insane. There isn’t so much a sound stage as much as my whole cranium has become a plasma globe.

Tracking shows mine one State away with delivery expected tomorrow. They won’t be purple, and I rather expect to be perceived as wearing tie fighter earrings.
