I came back from a meet today and was unloading my equipment. Thought I would snap a pic.
Was very apprehensive about the purchase of the M-Scaler. Would it provide noticeable changes?
It does! The impact varies from album to album, but there’s an added depth, punch and detail that’s clearly there. Looking forward to playing/listening/finding my upscaling sweet spot.
Why do you go and say things like this?
Well, I am on a 60-day return option, so I’d LIKE to think that self-justification has nothing to do with it. But I know better.
Congrats on the new piece of gear.
Good Gawd 20 characters
It better at that price, seems like chord doesn’t disappoint. I think it’s time for them to drop some new new
My first serious pair of IEMs and so far I’ve been very impressed with the Monarch! Placed an order for a smaller 3.5mm adapter for my phone but should be all set after that.
Well, It’s been like 4, maybe five days since I swore of reviewing solid state amplifiers, sold the Burson Soloist 3xp, and returned the Bryston BHA-1;
So, of course:
Thanks @KhaosSP it looks fantastic.
Wow that made it to you fast! Enjoy my friend.
What’s the big round thing in the middle with all the white marks around it?
Welcome to team M-Scaler, my friend! I’m super pumped you’re already enjoying it.
Congratulations on your new bit of gear. Enjoy. I am rather envious.
I don’t do enough pics of boxes lately, so here’s a box…
Inside which we have a box…
Inside which there is (I hope) something that I am interested in trying out!
As some of you may know, when you purchase a RebelAmp, you DO NOT get a power cable. So, Amazon recc. from Zeus Pantera.
Picked these up for $300, basically open box condition.
These are my first iem upgrade since I purchased the Tin T2 a good time ago lol. I barely used them so I kinda put off the iem idea. I guess I got use to using the Porta pros too
Anyways they sound great imo. Can’t imagine what a u12t would be like
These are also comfortable!
That’s a great price, and the SA6 are awesome IEMs, even at MSRP. You made out like a bandit!
Edit: I should add that, for me, the SA6 are at one of the inflection points for diminishing returns with IEMs. I have and the Massdrop Plus (originally $300) and the Andromeda 2020 ($1,100), and the SA6’s technical performance is a good deal closer to the Andro’s. Great value for money, in other words.
That’s awesome! I think if I jump up from here it would be a U12T and that’s a lot for me when looking at iems. I’m typically a headphones guy. If I pick up the U12T it would be second hand.
These both showed up today. Asgard 2 courtesy of @ProfFalkin
Modi 3+ b-stock from Schiit.
They will be going to college in California in September with my son.
In the meantime, dad is taking them for a test drive.
