Same here, i have a few inches between the amp and power supply and it is dead silent, shockingly quiet. Once in a while i will hear one of my tubes flickering inside but that passes within 10-15 seconds, my tubes are still not fully burned in yet and they still have a bit of snap, crackle and pop.

I assume you’re referring to the Linlai e-300b? I find that tube quite neutral sounding especially compared to the JJs and ACME. While the sound do change from each tube I roll, I find that the amp itself dictate most of the sound and the tubes themselves only seem to tweak or enhance it slightly and do not completely transform the amp’s underline tonality and technicalities.
Based on that observation I won’t be rolling 300b tubes anytime soon but I would like to try a pair of EML solid plate somewhere down the line. In short, the amp’s great and isn’t as tube reliant as one might think.

Aelous Sapele sapele is finished in a vintage mahogany stain for a darker appearance. When paired with the optional copper grille and rods, the copper will be pre-oxidized for an aged patina.

Every pair of ZMF headphones are just a work of art. The care take to make them is both look and sound good is great. I really want to own a set down the line. However, then I know I will get sucked into the Tube wormhole.

My Verite Open’s in African Blackwood arrived today. I went with rose gold hardware and I think again @zach915m , Bevin and the team knocked it out of the park!

Stunning. The Blackwood seems to accentuate the hardware more so than any other wood. I’m not usually a rose gold fan, but it does nice job of adding some warmth and makes for a most elegant overall presentation. Enjoy!

Sick, very nice matching!
Didn’t come in a box, but a local seller was offering these so I decided to check it out and demo before buying.
This AD900 has been modded with a set of 50mm Peerless Tymphany drivers and some additional tuning applied. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the overall sound quality and can finally give my neck a break from the LCDs when I’m listening during work. I went in with no expectations and they will definitely be sticking around for a while!
